Financial Literacy Session – ASB

At school this week we have been learning about how to save and spend money by Marlon and Esther from ASB GetWise. We have also been learning about how to start a business. In order to start a business we need to have a plan, and my business plan is to start a business called PacificArt where we make dresses, Tapa cloths, paintings etc.

The prices for our products will depend on different factors like the cost of  Tapa cloths, dresses, paintings, etc.

The prices of our products will be as follows: Dresses $35 /  Tapa cloths $25 / Paintings $10

I also made a logo and catchphrase for our business. The catchphrase for our business is “Art That Flows Like The Sea”, and the logo I made is showing on the right side.

I hope you liked this blog about what I have been learning this week at school.

My Matariki Animation

Xin chao,

My name is Luciana

Today I am going to share with you what I have been learning about in class.

This week we learn how to make Matariki animations.

The challenging part of making this was choosing which colour to use,

I was gonna use blue or yellow but I decided to use yellow for the stars.

We also got to make Cook Island animations too.

I really enjoyed making these animations.

I got the idea from Whaea Naomi.

As you can see in my picture,I have learned about Matarki.

We learn it every year.

Have you ever learnt about Matariki?

Comment if you do.
